I'm a philosopher investigating the nature of mental and linguistic representation by combining philosophical work on content with linguistic work in formal semantics. My research defends a new theory of the propositional attitudes and their objects. I enjoy teaching all kinds of philosophy to all kinds of students.
In 2023, I received my Ph.D in Philosophy from UT Austin under the direction of Josh Dever – with Hans Kamp, Ray Buchanan, Harvey Lederman, and Jeff Speaks on my committee.
Before that, I got an M.A. in Philosophy from Notre Dame, where I gained a serious appreciation for analytic metaphysics.
Before that, I earned a double A.B. in Philosophy and Mathematics from Dartmouth College.
Here is my CV.
Feel free to contact me at aprausch@utexas.edu for any (preferably philosophical) reason.
